Dear fellow Hanoverians:
Looking for some indoor winter fun for your young children? The
Friends of the John Curtis Free Library are pleased to announce a
six-week art program for children ages 3 – 5 years that will begin at
the library in February.
Kreative Kids, taught by Karen Cass (a Hanover artist and private
educator, www.karencass.com
), will provide children ages 3 – 5 with an introduction to basic art
techniques while focusing on nature and the winter season. This class
will meet on Wednesdays from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the library
beginning on February 6 through March 20 (skipping February 20 during
school vacation week). Parents are invited to stay during the class to
assist their children.
This class will support 10 children and is fully funded by the Friends
of the Library with participants asked to pay only a $10 supply fee.
Registration is happening now at the children’s circulation desk at
the library with your $10 supply payment. Preference is given to
children who have not taken this class before. For more information
about the Friends of the John Curtis Library, please contact Tracy
Marchetti at tjmarchetti@verizon.net
