Storm damage resources in Hanover

Dear fellow Hanoverians:
The town has put out some helpful storm recovery information that I
thought I would call your attention to.
If you need a licensed electrician to do work on electrical lines
between your house and the pole or inside your house, there is a list
of electricians here:
http://www.hanover-ma.gov/pdf/ListOfLicensedElectriciansForPowerRestoration(2-11-13).pdf

If you need some assistance removing snow from your roof or if ice
dams develop as a result of today’s rain and freezing conditions,
there is a list of licensed contractors here:
http://www.hanover-ma.gov/pdf/ListOfVendorsForRoofSnowRemoval(2-11-13).pdf

If you are in need of shelter this evening, the Red Cross has set up a
regional shelter at Weymouth High School, 1 Wildcat Way, South
Weymouth.
The transfer station had to be closed today (Monday) due to an
equipment malfunction, but will be open Tuesday and Wednesday (when it
is normally closed) to assist residents with storm cleanout and
spoiled food disposal.
Be safe and don’t hesitate to keep those questions coming to
“Around Town on the Web”! Together we make this town great!
