Dear fellow Hanoverians:
Hanover Middle School is proud to present their first play in many years,
“The Music Man, Jr.”! The play was able to be produced with a generous
grant from the Hanover Cultural Council, which is compromised of residents
who are interested in supporting and promoting arts, humanities and
sciences. The school needed funding in order to buy play rights, rent
costumes, books, scenery, and pay for the musical director, director and
choreographer.
Over 60 students are acting in the play which is being directed by John
Duff of Hanover. The play is utilizing many of Hanover’s talented
residents and teachers and it is truly a community effort! Students in
grades 5-8 are participating.
The production will be held April 4th, 7:00 p.m., April 5th, 2:00 p.m. and
7:00 p.m. at the Hanover High School’s Robert J. Nyman Auditorium.
Tickets will be on sale at the Salmond School, 188 Broadway, beginning
March 31st through April 3rd from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Tickets will also
be on sale at the door for all shows an hour before each show time at
Hanover High School. Ticket prices are $8.
