Dear fellow Hanoverians:
Attached please find the unofficial results of the Town of Hanover’s Annual
Town Election. Congratulations to Ruth Lynch and Kimberly Mills-Booker for
winning the two seats among the three contestants for the School Committee,
and to Robert O’Rourke and Susan Setterland for winning the two Board of
Selectman seats.
Of note are the write-in results which indicate that Tom Burke won a seat
on the Housing Authority, Dave Delaney won a seat on the Board of
Assessors, and Lance Mortland won a seat on the Planning Board. All write
in positions are subject to acceptance by the winner.
Particular thanks and praise go to the stalwart staff of the Hanover Town
Elections, especially Wardens Wally Zemotel, Carol Mattes, John Morris and
Rick Mattes. Additional recognition goes to Registrar’s Kathy DiSabito and
Pam Ferguson, and Assistant Town Clerk JoAnne O’Connor. For more
