Stetson House on Memorial Day

Dear fellow Hanoverians:
Memorial Day is around the corner and there’s a lot to do in Hanover that
highlights our small lovable town, our deep and rich history, and of course
our valued veterans. Details are just now trickling in, so I will send
them along as I receive them from the various groups.

May 26, Monday – Memorial Day, Stetson House Museum and Barn Open for
Hearth and Home Tours from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. FREE. Tours will be
focusing on cooking, gardening, and agriculture at the Stetson House
Museum.

There will be craftsmen in the barn demonstrating early American crafts.
Girl Scout Troop 80253 will be in the historic herb garden to talk about
their historic herb planting project and what the plants were used for in
colonial days for cooking and medicine.
