The Hanover Board of Selectmen has designated Friday, November 13th, 2015
as World Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Day in the Town of Hanover. Residents
who wish to raise awareness about this devastating disease are encouraged
to wear purple on Friday.

As the proud neice of Dan Pearce, Marshfield High School Assistant
Principal for almost 40 years, who died of pancreatic cancer in September,
I have to say that I am proud of my town and Board of Selectmen for noting
this day. I bet there are many among you who have a connection to this
