Inclusion in the Community

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

The Parent Advisory Council sent along the following:

We are excited to present a lively roundtable discussion on Inclusion in
the Community. All are welcome to attend. Please see the attached flyer
for more information.

Speakers include:

Joel Barrett: assistant principal at Cedar Elementary will discuss his
vision of inclusion in a school setting and in the community

Emmy Casagrande: Inclusion Coordinator for the South Shore YMCA

George Kippenhan: a local parent who will be sharing how inclusion has
impacted his family, and in particular his daughter Mary, who is a member
of the Boston Junior Terriers Tier 1 Hockey Team and also happens to have
cerebral palsy
Laura McGonagle: As the Scituate HS swim coach and a swim instructor for
the C.O.R.S.E. program and MASK Swim team, Lauren embraces inclusion in her
teaching

Tracy Johnston: President of C.O.R.S.E.an organization providing
programming and community integration, offering high quality programs for
ALL children in the community and allowing children with special needs to
participate alongside their friends and neighbors to reach their full
potential.

Karen Gill & Maura Dowling: Special Needs CCD coordinators, Holy Mothers’
Collaborative
