Dear fellow Hanoverians:
The Friends of the John Curtis Free Library are happy to announce 2 art
classes for adults to begin in March and run for 6 weeks, one in the
morning and one in the evening.
Kelly Burke, a Hanover artist and art educator (www.saturdaystudioart.com
), will teach adults to explore the uses of different materials. The class
will focus on floral drawings using oil pastel, fruit arrangements using
chalk pastel, watercolor landscape paintings, and a Cape Cod inspired light
house acrylic painting on canvas. Some projects may need 2 classes to
finish.
Classes will meet on Mondays beginning March 14 and run through April 18.
The morning class will run from 10:30-11:30 am in the large meeting room
downstairs at the library. The evening class will run from 6:30-7:30 pm.
Each class will support 12 adults.
All classes are fully funded by the Friends of the Library with
participants asked to pay only a $10 supply fee. Registration is happening
now with your $10 supply fee — please register upstairs at the adult
circulation desk. Sign up quickly as these spaces won’t last! Contact
Tracy Marchetti with questions, tjmarchetti@verizon.net.
