Coyotes in New England lecture

Public Invited – Free Lecture

What: “Eastern Coyotes in New England”
When: Tuesday, October 4, 7:15 p.m.
Where: Phoenix Lodge, Broadway and Washington Streets

The Walnut Hill Garden Club of Hanover invites interested members of the
public to a free lecture and slide show, “Becoming Wolf: Eastern Coyotes
in New England” to be presented by Christine Schadler. She will inform
the audience about the Eastern Coyote that shares our landscapes, their
place in our ecosystem, and how farmers, gardeners, and suburban dwellers
can live together and even benefit from the coyote. Christine has
researched and lectured on wolves and coyotes for more than 30 years and
has a particular interest in managing livestock to avoid predation. She
is now the NH and VT Representative for Project Coyote, a national
organization promoting co-existence with coyotes.
