Dear fellow Hanoverians:
The First Congregational Church of Hanover is proud to present “An
Evening in Israel”, followed by a charity auction in support of the
United Nations Humanitarian Action, UNICEF on Saturday, April 29th at 5:00
p.m. Members of the church recently traveled to Israel, and they have
brought back new insights on the needs of children in the area surrounding
Jerusalem. To raise funds which will go directly to UNICEF, the Stewardship
Committee will be auctioning baskets with the theme “Do What You Love”,
which will emphasize hobbies and passions.
The evening will feature Middle Eastern cuisine, a lively slide show
presentation, and the opportunity to talk with those who enjoyed this life
altering trip. The event is free and open to the community.
First Congregational Church of Hanover has been a congregation serving the
Town of Hanover and surrounding area since the town’s inception. It is
located in Hanover Center at 547 Hanover Street.
