Dear fellow Hanoverians:
The Friends of the John Curtis Free Library are happy to announce 2 art
classes for adults to begin in May and run for 6 weeks, one in the morning
and one in the evening.
Kelly Burke, a Hanover artist and art educator (www.saturdaystudioart.com
), will teach adults to explore the uses of different materials. The
classes will focus on drawings and design using various media including oil
pastel, chalk pastel, and acrylic paint. Some projects may need 2 classes
to finish.
The evening classes will meet on Tuesdays beginning May 9 and run through
June 13 from 6:30-7:30 pm. The morning class will meet on Thursdays
beginning May 11 and run through June 15 from 10:30-11:30 am. All classes
will meet in the large room downstairs at the library. Each class will
support 12 adults.
All classes are fully funded by the Friends of the Library with
participants asked to pay only a $10 supply fee. Registration is happening
now with your $10 supply fee — please register upstairs at the adult
circulation desk. Sign up quickly as these spaces won’t last!
