“Fintastic” Sharks and Rays
Monday, August 15th at 6:30 p.m.:
Missing Shark Week? Can’t get enough sharks?! Join Joy Markholz of Joys of
Nature and the John Curtis Free Library on August 15th at 6:30 p.m. for a
cool presentation on sharks! This program is aimed at a teen audience, but
all patrons are welcome to attend.

How To Bake a Universe Story and Craft
Wednesday, August 17th at 3:00 p.m.:
Massachusetts author Alec Carvlin will present his debut picture book, How
to Bake a Universe, at the John Curtis Free Library on Wednesday, August
17th at 3:00 p.m. Kids will decorate their own cosmic sunglasses, hear the
book read aloud by the author, and ask questions about the fun and funky
science at the end.

Bring a picnic lunch and spread out on the library lawn on Thursday, August
18th at 1:00 p.m. Puppeteer John McDonough and his giant puppets will move
through the crowd and interact with the audience.
