St. Mary of the Portiuncula and Mary Queen of Peace Secular Franciscan
Fraternities extend an invitation to share an hour of Prayer at the
Portiuncula Chapel, Saturday, August 13, 2022, 7:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m., to
celebrate the Fourth Apparition of Our Lady of Fatima. Hear a talk by Fr.
Mike McNamara on the Fourth Apparition followed by a Rosary procession on
the grounds of the Portiuncula Chapel (weather permitting).
Come together to offer thanks and praise to Our Lady, “Queen of the
Angels;” bring a message of hope and peace to those in need of the Lord’s
mercy through this special devotion. As Our Lady promised us at Fatima,
“I will never forsake you, I will not abandon you. My Immaculate Heart
will always be your refuge, your consolation, and the way that will lead
you to God.”
Prayer intentions for August are for an increase of Vocations, for the
people of Ukraine, for the Missions of the World, and for the personal
needs and intentions of all in attendance.
