Dear fellow Hanoverians:
This just in from Food Pantry President Sally Boutin! Due to the upcoming
holiday, the Hanover Food Pantry will be closed on Wednesday, November 26,
2025. But, as usual, they are open Monday morning, November 24, 2025, for
intake of contributions from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. from those wishing to
donate.
For those seeking assistance, the Food Pantry will be open on Monday,
November 24, 2025, before Thanksgiving, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. for food
distribution. They will also be open THIS Saturday, November 22. The pantry
Saturday hours are from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The pantry will be closed
the Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 29, 2025. Thank you for your
understanding.
The good folks at the Hanover Food Pantry are in the meantime sending a
huge thank you to all Hanover residents who have donated to the Pantry
during the recent food crisis. The schools, scouts, clubs, civic groups,
churches, businesses, children holding private collections and individual
residents have shown an amazing outpouring of love and care that is
unmatched in Pantry history. The food pantry volunteer staff have been
totally overwhelmed by the generosity of this town. They are so proud to be
able to serve our town’s clients with all the kindness and support that has
been offered. We are taking care of our own residents beautifully. Thank
you Hanover from all of the volunteers at the pantry.
