On-line courses for Hanover students

Dear fellow =
Hanoverians:

Did you know that =
Hanover High and
Middle School students have the ability to take on-line courses through =
the
Hanover Schools?    Have the students in your house =
always
wanted to take an on-line course?  Would they like to explore new
opportunities that would not otherwise be available to them?  How =
about
Basic Mandarin – or Latin?  Business for Middle School
Students?  Oceanography?  Biotechnology?
Entrepreneurship?  Astronomy?  The course catalog can be found =
at http://www.govhs.org/Pages/Academics-Catalog
.  There are over 200 to choose from!  Hanover High students =
earn
credit just as they would in any other traditional class, and Hanover =
Middle
School students typically extend their learning and/or challenge =
themselves
beyond the typical course offerings at the Middle =
School.

The Town of Hanover is =
fortunate to
be a part of the Virtual High School Global Consortium program.  =
For more
information, go to http://www.govhs.org/
.  Seats are limited to the first 25 interested students in each of =
the
fall and spring semesters of the 2009-2010 school year.  Students =
need to
log-on three to four times a week to complete the course work for an =
average
class.  For more information or to register, please contact Tina =
McCusker,
Hanover High School Librarian, at tmccusker@hanoverschools.org =
.
