Help your school nurses to help all of Hanover’s kids

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

I receive hundreds of e-mails from all of you on a regular basis –
thoughtful, concerned, helpful, sometimes hysterical, and usually jam packed
with great information to share with fellow Hanover residents. Keep them
coming! I am happy to be a conduit.a connection.that brings all of us
together. It’s one of the many things that makes living here in Hanover
great!

Today’s informational missive is a respectful request from a reader to put
head lice back on your radar screen. Having head lice does not mean anyone
did anything wrong or is dirty. It is most helpful when parents share
information, rather than hide it and send their child off to school. The
school nurses do their best, but they are only as good as their information.

I hope you’ll take a few minutes to look at the following website:
www.headlice.org . Be vigilant with your kids,
and don’t hesitate to check them for head lice. If your child has head lice
or any other communicable disease, please inform your child’s school nurse.
