Open Space Volunteer Opportunity

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

The Open Space Committee will meet at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 21st
at the Nava-Stasiluk property on Center Street. We welcome all volunteers
to join us. The goal of this Saturday’s work party is to clear a stone wall
and improve the street level view into the property. In addition, the group
will evaluate relocation of existing perennial flowerbeds on the property
and possibly begin cutting a new extension trail. The Nava-Stasiluk
property was purchased with Community Preservation funds, and the Open Space
group is excited to make this parcel of land more accessible to town
residents.

View the detail location of the property on the town trail map:

df. There is limited off street parking currently available. You may also
park directly in front of the stone wall. It would be helpful to bring
clippers or shears.

The committee will continue trail improvements such as clearing existing
trails, marking & cutting new trails, and improving signage throughout the
fall and winter. Are you or is your group or organization looking for
service hours or a service project? Send an e-mail to
hanoveropenspace@gmail.com with any questions, or to be contacted directly
for future opportunities.
