Dear fellow Hanoverians:
The Spirit of Hanover Community Service Award Committee is accepting
nominations for the recipient of the 9th Annual Spirit of Hanover Community
Service Award.
This Award is presented annually to an individual who best exemplifies the
spirit of Hanover by voluntarily giving selflessly of their time, energy and
talent to the Town and its citizens thus enriching our lives, fostering a
true sense of community and inspiring us all to a higher level of service.
Nominations should be in writing and should articulate in detail how the
nominee satisfies these criteria.
Nominations must be postmarked no later than February 19, 2010 and should be
addressed to:

Nominations may also be submitted electronically no later than February 19,
2010 to hanovercsa@aol.com .
Past recipients of the Award include Mrs. Virginia Szejnar, Mrs. Barbara
Barker, Mr. Richard "Dick" Eaton, Mrs. Jean Migre, Mrs. Lois Van Doren, Mr.
John Thomson, Mrs. Barbara Itz, and Mrs. Catherine Harder-Bernier.
Receipt of the Award is commemorated by having the recipient’s name
inscribed on a perpetual plaque which is prominently displayed in the foyer
of the Town Hall.
