Dear fellow Hanoverians:
Bidding for the 4 Red Sox tickets on Father’s Day has
begun. As of 4:32 p.m. today, there were no bids. Don’t miss
out on your chance to see the Red Sox take on Manny and the LA Dodgers!
The seats are on the first base line, Section 11, Box 10, row L, Seats 1
– 4. They have total face value of $520, and
all proceeds of this on-line auction will be donated to the Friends of the John
Curtis Library.
Bidding starts at $300, and will
be accomplished simply by sending an e-mail to cathyhb@atotw.com . Once you enter a
bid, you will be added to the distribution list that will keep you updated on
the latest bid (as best as humanly possible!). Bids will be accepted
until exactly 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday (6/15). If two bids for the same
amount are received, the earlier bid will take precedence. So, it is to
your advantage to bid your best price early. Bids received by me
after 11:00 a.m. (computer clock time) on Tuesday will not be considered.
