Community Park proposal

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

Last April, several people met to discuss the idea of a Curtis/ Gallant
Community Park at the site of the old Curtis School on Main Street in North
Hanover.

The plan would include an inclusive playground, a butterfly/native plant
garden, picnic area, and possibly a shelter and historic markers. This
would be an effort in coordination with several groups in the community,
including the Historical Society. The goal is to create a
multi-generational accessible space for use by the community.

There will be a meeting on Wednesday, October 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the John
Curtis Free Library. Anyone interested in being involved in the planning
process or anyone who would like to share ideas is welcome.

If you have any questions or comments, please send them to Diane Campbell
at disycampbell@yahoo.com .
