Nyman announces Factory Pond Dam funding

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

As part of her continued efforts to support local infrastructure and the
environment, State Representative Rhonda Nyman (D-Hanover) announced that
$150,000 in funding for improvements and repairs to Hanover’s Factory
Pond Dam was authorized as part of a recent environmental bond bill.

“These repairs are necessary for ensuring public safety and protecting
our environment,” said Representative Nyman. “I am very pleased I was
able to include these projects in the environmental bond bill. That way the
cost of repairs and improvements will be less of a fiscal burden on our
communities.”

For more information, please contact Legislative Aide Francis DiBona at

Mattress sale fundraiser for Friends of Hanover Music

Dear fellow Hanoverians:
The Friends of Hanover Music have been given a unique opportunity to raise
a lot of money in one day and they are spreading the word. They are
sponsoring a Mattress Sale on Saturday, July 26th from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00
p.m. at Hanover High School. 10% of the population will buy a mattress
every year. The Friends of Hanover Music are hoping to capture many from
that percentage. If you or anyone you know is planning to buy a mattress
this year, please send them to the High School next Saturday, July 26th.

Mattresses are deeply discounted, from 30%-60% off. They are name brand
mattresses made in New England. There is an attached flyer with all of the
important information. Also attached is a referral coupon. This coupon is
for $50 toward the purchase of a mattress. You can also check off which
Hanover School you would like to receive the incentive allocation. If you
have a musician in the family (or just know one), put his/her name on and
he/she will receive credit for the sale.

Also, Firefighters, Police Personnel, Military and Employees of Hanover
Schools receive an additional discount. That flyer is attached as well.

All the Friends of Hanover Music ask of you is to simply spread the word in
the next week and a half – let everyone know about the sale and the
potential savings. All monies raised are going to the great music programs
of Cedar, Center/Sylvester, Hanover Middle and Hanover High School and will
only help make them even better!!

If you have any questions, please email Friends of Hanover Music at
HPMC101@gmail.com or look to their event page on FaceBook Friends of
Hanover Music New Mattress Fundraiser:
