Polls only open from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. next Saturday

Dear fellow Hanoverians:
The Town of Hanover Town Clerk’s Office reminds voters that polls
for the Special Town Election will be open only from 10:00 a.m. –
2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 28th. This election is being held to
fill the vacancy on the Board of Selectmen.
Town Clerk Cathy Harder-Bernier said that the polling hours were set
by the Board of Selectmen with her full support. “With only one race
on the ballot, it made sense to save the town some money and hold
shorter election hours. I encourage registered voters to plan their
voting strategy ahead of time so that they may cast their votes on
Saturday and be a part of this important election to fill the vacancy
on the Board of Selectmen”.
All four precincts vote at Hanover High School, 287 Cedar Street.
There are three candidates: Brian E. Barthelmes, Mark Christensen, and
Nancy A. Leonard vying for the seat vacated by Gary Young last spring.
For more information about the Special Town Election, please contact
the Town Clerk’s Office at (781) 826-5000 x1079 or
