Public wireless access at Town Hall

Dear fellow Hanoverians:
On behalf of Town Manager Troy Clarkson and thanks to the good work of
Computer Coordinator Tom Nee, I am delighted to announce that
Hanover’s Town Hall will now provide free wireless access to any and
all visitors to Town Hall.
There will be two wireless access points (WAP’s): one in the large
first floor hearing room and one in the Advisory Committee meeting
room also on the first floor. These two WAP’s provide excellent
coverage to those rooms and also to the second floor hearing room.
Coverage is good in the rest of the building except for a couple of
isolated spots. The wireless network name (a.k.a. SSID, or Service Set
Identifier) is “*HTH-Public*” and the passphrase is
“*anchorplow*” (all lower case).
It’s fun being your Clerk and having access to this sort of
information right from the ground floor up…literally and
figuratively.

Walk the Indian Head Loop this weekend

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

The Open Space Committee invites you to a walk on Saturday, May 18

th
at 2:00pm
at a hidden gem in Hanover: the as-yet-unmarked Indian Head Loop
Trail. The Open Space Committee (OSC) will be gathering at the Hanover
Canoe Launch at the end of Indian Head Drive (the street starts
opposite Luddam’s Ford Park in southern Hanover) where there is
ample parking. The group will be walking a one and one half mile loop
with excellent views of the Indian Head River. The walk is wooded and
can be muddy in spots, so please wear sturdy shoes and bring bug
spray. Please join the OSC for a lovely spring walk at this very
scenic riverfront property.

Please visit the Open Space Committee on Facebook: Hanover
Massachusetts Open Space or hanoveropenspace@gmail.com

for latest updates and additional details. The OSC meets at 7:30 pm

the first Monday of every month at the Hanover Town Hall.
