State of the Town breakfast

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

Working together to strengthen the partnership between the Town of
Hanover and its vital business community, the Town and the Hanover
Chamber of Commerce have jointly announced the scheduling of the 2013
“State of the Town” address.

The address will be held at the Hanover Town Hall on Thursday,
February 7th, 2013, at 7:30 a.m. A breakfast will include an update on
town affairs by Chairman of the Board of Selectmen John Barry and Town
Manager Troy Clarkson. Representatives from the Hanover School
Department will attend with an update on school activities. Chamber
representatives will provide an update on the business environment in
town. Town department heads will also be on hand to answer questions
and engage with the public in attendance.

“We’ve held this meeting as a dinner meeting with some success,
but wanted to breathe new life and new energy into the event to match
the energy with which the Board of Selectmen are supporting the
business community,” said Chamber President Cathy Follett. “Our
cooperative working relationship with town government is fostered by
our annual state of the town meeting at which chamber members as well
as the Hanover community will have an opportunity to engage in
face-to-face discussions with town officials, ensuring progress for
Hanover,” she continued.

Cost of the breakfast is $10.00. Those interested in attending should
RSVP to Ann Lee, 781-826-5000, ext. 4. For more information, contact
Troy Clarkson at troy.clarkson@hanover-ma.gov
