Enjoy our trails and open space?

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

It’s almost summer, and lots of folks are hitting the trails here in
Hanover. After a very windy winter and spring, some of Hanover’s trails
are in need of some TLC.

If you’re interested in helping the Open Space Committee with trail
maintenance (anything from clearing fallen trees and building boardwalks,
to trail marking and trash cleanup), please let them know. If you live
near, or are a frequent visitor to a particular trail, we’re always looking
for folks who can monitor, report and/or assist on a more regular basis.

Send a short note with your interest and your contact info to:
hanovertrailwalkers@gmail.com. They’ll alert you to volunteer opportunities
as they arise.

If you are a member of a local group or business that may be interested in
assisting your community, we’d love to work with you. We can offer a trail
“work day”, or suggest a trail to “adopt”. Just email your interest to the
address above.

And thanks for helping keep Hanover’s trails beautiful!

The Hanover Open Space Committee
