Dear fellow Hanoverians:

The Hanover School Store Team hopes this message finds you well! As a
community, we continue to be stronger by staying apart. As face masks in
public places have become part of our new normal, the Hanover School Store
is pleased to partner with Arrow Sports Group to offer a line of customized
Hanover masks and covers in both youth and adult sizes.

All orders will be placed online through their unique website and shipped
directly to the customer. In addition, customers will have the opportunity
to make a charitable donation to the Hanover Food Pantry.
The Hanover School Store will be accepting orders through Monday, May 25,
2020, at which time the website will be closed for processing. They will
reopen the website again in June and monthly thereafter in response to the
needs of the community.

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

This Saturday, May 16th, the Moms of the High School Band Class of 2020,
will be conducting a food drive in the parking lots at Stop and Shop in
Norwell and Shaw’s in Hanover from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The drop off
will be a drive-thru with no contact.

The items that are most needed include canned soups/vegetables/tuna,
cereal, milk, bread, peanut butter, rice, granola bars, crackers, tomato
sauce, juice, noodles, and mac and cheese.

What a difference the interval of a month makes. Two months ago on March
13, 2020, at the beginning of our understanding of what the pandemic would
look like, Hanover Schools were closed. Town Hall closed to the public
shortly thereafter. Our world certainly changed since then.

A month later on April 13th, the application for the first-ever Early
Ballots by Mail for the June 27th, 2020 Annual Town Election became
available right here on ATOTW. Since then we’ve seen Candidate’s Night via
Zoom and Candidate Information Sheets sent via ATOTW. For more information

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

While this information was widely reported last week and is readily
available on the web, today was the first time I actually sat down and read
the Governor’s order and guidance related to wearing masks. I did so at
the request of a Hanover grandmother, who was very concerned about the lack
of mask-wearing while she was out in public on Thursday, 5/7. She asked if
I would, and I am happy to forward this information to all of you as a
result of her concern.
