Hanover Crossing impacts

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

Earlier this week the Hanover Planning Board held their second hearing with
PREP, the developers of Hanover Crossing, formerly known as the Hanover
Mall. During that meeting, the Town Manager read a letter that summarized
the comments from the Town of Hanover management team regarding the
development’s impacts on the town’s municipal services.

I’ve had a few inquiries and discussions about the letter, and of course
found it to be personally of interest as I watched the hearing on TV that
evening. Some folks have had trouble finding it; hence this e-mail. It is
available on the Town’s website, here:
https://www.hanover-ma.gov/sites/hanoverma/files/uploads/hanover_planning_board_public_hearing_-_letter_from_the_town_manager_7-29-19.pdf
. Check it out!

John Curtis Library’s children’s summer play

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

Auditions will be held Wednesday, July 24 at 3:00 p.m. for the John Curtis
Library’s children’s summer play.

Children of all ages are encouraged to try out. There are reading parts
for older children and singing parts for younger children. The play is
done “reader’s theater” style, so actors don’t have to memorize their
lines. This will be the ninth year that the children’s department has put
on a play. This year’s production, not yet officially titled, fits in with
the summer reading theme “A Universe of Stories” and features
schoolchildren and space aliens in a battle between books and technology,
with a happy ending for all.

For more information, please call 781-826-2972, extension 5, or email the
children’s librarian at lcampbell@ocln.org.
