Hanover Foundation announces grant recipients

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

The Hanover Foundation for Educational Enrichment (HFEE) recently awarded
$10,784.80 to fund enrichment grants throughout the Hanover Schools.
Established in 1992 to provide funds for the enhancement of educational
programs, the Foundation has worked to raise more than $170,000 for the
benefit of students at all levels. This year’s grant recipients include:

Hanover Middle School

. Enrichment Materials for French Class

. Rocks and Minerals Science Kit

. Laminator

. Stained Glass Art Materials

. Document Camera

. Science Lab Simple Machines

. Purchase of a Laptop

Cedar Elementary School

. Freedom Trail Scholars

. Science Sizzlers

. Learning with Frames Technology Software

Center/Sylvester Elementary School

. Tidepool Alive!

. Discovery Education Streaming Technology

. Learning with Frames Technology Software

The Foundation is seeking help from new volunteers! If you would like to
truly do something to improve educational programs for Hanover’s children,
please consider attending their next board meeting on January 20th at 7:30
p.m. at the South Shore YMCA at Mill Pond. They would love to see you there
to help make a positive difference in our community.
