I know this seems crazy given the weather, but THINK SUMMER! This just in
from the good folks at Hanover Parks and Recreation. Registration starts
next week!

Summer 2011 Programs

PARK AND REC

K – 6th Grades

The traditional summer Park and Rec program will return to B. Everett Hall
Field for our 50th year!! The Park and Rec program accepts children in
grades Kindergarten – 6th. Each child will be assigned a counselor and
groups will be arranged by grade with the traditional Park and Rec games,
sports, crafts, weekly entertainment, and field trips all included in the
cost. The program runs from 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Session 1: June 27th – July 8th (Skipping 4th of July) $135

Session 2: July 11th – July 22nd
$150

Session 3: July 25th – August 5th
$150

Session 4: August 8th – August 19th
$150

New this year:

Four, two week, five days a week sessions

More organized game stations

More arts and crafts

Bigger field trips

On-site medical staff to provide first aid

Extended hour program available

TEEN EXTREME

5th – 8th Grades

Teen Extreme is back after another great year! This summer program is
designed for Middle School students who are just leaving 5th, 6th, 7th, and
8th grades. There are nine sessions that begin June 27th and end August
24th. This field trip-based camp includes 2 camp days and 2 field trip days
(Tuesdays and Thursdays).

$120 each week

Each week is a new session that runs Monday – Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00
p.m.

Week 1: Lazer Gate and Rock Climbing (6/27 – 6/30)

Week 2: Paintball and Beach (7/5 – 7/8)

Week 3: Waterwizz and Kayaking (7/11 – 7/14)

Week 4: Canobie Lake Park and LazerGate (7/18 – 7/21)

Week 5: Kayaking and Rock Climbing (7/25 – 7/28)

Week 6: Water Country and Fanueil Hall (8/1 – 8/4)

Week 7: Six Flags and Fenway Tour (8/8 – 8/11)

Week 8: Waterwizz and IMAX (8/15 – 8/18)

Week 9: Paintball and Beach (8/22 – 8/25)

Extended hour program available.

KIDS KLUB

3 – 6 year olds (potty trained)

Last year we introduced our first Pre-K camp. Through the enormous success,
we created a year round day care. Kids Klub is back for another summer! This
year parents will have the option of 5 days a week or 3 days (Tuesday,
Thursday, and Friday). The program runs from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Session 1: June 27th – July 8th (Skipping 4th of July) $112
(M-F) or $75 (T, Th, and F)

Session 2: July 11th – July 22nd
$125 (M-F) or $75 (T, Th, and F)

Session 3: July 25th – August 5th
$125 (M-F) or $75 (T, Th, and F)

Session 4: August 8th – August 19th
$125 (M-F) or $75 (T, Th, and F)

We will be inside AND outside. Outside we will play games, go on nature
walks, and enjoy other outdoor activities. Inside we will have crafts (twice
a week!), board games, books, and more! Come make new friends this summer
with us!

INFORMATION FOR ALL PROGRAMS

. Registrations are accepted on a first – paid, first served basis to
Hanover residents

. On-line registration will begin at 6:00 a.m. on February 7th. Link will
be posted on www.hanoverparkandrec.com . If you do not have access to a
computer at your home, you may use the computer station at the Rec Center.

. Drop off registrations (if space is available) will start February 21st
at 9:00 a.m. at the Rec Center. (ALL paper forms, including mail in
registrations will NOT be opened until 2/21)

. Refund Policy: Full refunds will be considered until April 15th with a
$25 processing fee. Requests must be made in writing and received prior to
the April 15th deadline. After April 15th refunds will not be issued; please
consider personal vacations prior to registering your child.
