Dear fellow Hanoverians:
An “Around Town on the Web” (ATOTW) reader sent along the
following plea for support from Hanover residents to be sent to the
residents of Sandy Hook (Newtown), Connecticut:
Please consider dropping off your letters, notes, or children’s
drawings to be mailed to Connecticut this week. The box will be marked
“Hugs for Sandy Hook Elementary”.
Sandy Hook Elementary School, Police Department, Fire Department, and
families and friends of Sandy Hook will receive them before Christmas.
ATOTW reader Anne McNamara wants to offer her covered porch at 61
Damon Road (corner of Buffum Road) as a drop off point. She will mail
the first box this coming Friday, 12/21.
She welcomes children’s drawings, and notes, letters, etc. from all
ages. The tragedy has affected hearts throughout this town and
country. All families can express their thoughts and prayers. She will
