Dear fellow Hanoverians:
Buy your chances now for a most excellent winter raffle basket at the John
Curtis Library and support the programs and passes that you enjoy! This
basket contains loads of fun things to do or enjoy in the winter including a
WiiSports Resort game, a $100 Bowling/Pizza Party for four at Boston Bowl
Hanover, a book of passes to the Patriot Cinemas, a $25 gift certificate to
Crossroads Café and Deli, $25 at Gunther Tooties, $30 towards relaxation at
Sky Spa, a beautiful bird feeder and seed, lots of tasty winter treats
(maple syrup, steel-cut oatmeal, jelly), and MUCH more. You can see all that
this basket has to offer at the children?s circulation desk until February
28. The Friends of the John Curtis Free Library extend our sincere thanks
to all of the wonderful local businesses who have made donations: Boston
Bowl Hanover, Crossroads Café & Deli, Gunther Tooties, Wildbirds Unlimited,
Panera Bread, Sky Spa, Shaw?s (Hanover), and the Lottery (who donated
Patriots and Celtics hats and shirts). We urge patrons to repay their
community goodwill by using their services if possible.
Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 and may be purchased at the library during
regular library hours beginning January 15 until February 28. Buy often and
buy lots! The Friends will draw the winning ticket on February 28. All
proceeds from this event will benefit future library programs and
acquisitions. Thanks in advance for your support of this program which will
only enhance our already wonderful library.
