Dear fellow Hanoverians:
This just in.as a follow-up to last weekend’s fundraiser that honored cancer
fighter and Hanover resident Julie Porzio!
The "Friends of Julie" would like to thank all those who contributed to the
success of our first fund raiser. Due to the overwhelming response, we were
able to send our first recipients (the Desantis Family, from Pembroke whose
mom was recent diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer) to Disney World for
April vacation.
We are also happy to announce that we are moving forward with our 501c-3
non-profit designation. Our mission statement will be to fund "Family Time"
for late stage cancer patients with their children. This will include
trips, sporting events and quality time. Please stay tuned…..
