Open Space walk on the Bog Iron Trail

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

Join the Open Space Committee on Saturday, September 29 at 10:00 a.m. on
the Folly Hill property for a two mile walk on the Bog Iron Trail. The
walk will feature the recent work of Eagle Scout candidate Christian
Lyttle, who has added signage and improved the trail. The group will walk
the trail also known as the “Single Path”, so named for Reverend
Single, the blind former pastor of the Lutheran Church, who walked through
these woods with his dog each day from his home on Broadway. A neat piece
of Hanover history and a pretty woodland walk! Park at the Lutheran
Church, 77 Rockland Street, Hanover. Sturdy walking shoes and insect
repellent are advised. For more information contact
hanovertrailwalkers@gmail.com.
