*South Shore Vocational Technical High School Parent Association’s*
*3rd Annual* *Spring Fling/Silent Auction Event will be on Friday*,
*March 23, from 7:00 – 11:00 p.m.* at the *Abington VFW Hall. *Join
the SSVT’s Parent Association for a night of fun and fundraising
with entertainment by DJ Scott Crooks, light refreshments and cash
bar.* Tickets are $10 per person, available at the door or at the SSVT
High School’s main office. *
Admission enters you in the door prize drawings. The grand prize
drawing is a $500 Weber Gas Grill donated by Yale Electric (need not

Dear fellow Hanoverians:
You can make a difference to the students of Hanover Schools!

The Hanover PTA is looking for two members to join the executive board
for the upcoming 2012-13 school, as well as several committee
positions. This non-profit organization raises over $30,000 each year
and gives it all back to the schools through programming, grants and
scholarships. This is a wonderful opportunity to get more involved in
your child’s education, meet lots of great people, and make an
impact in the community. Elections will be held at the next meeting on
March 15th (7:00 p.m. at the Police Station).

Dear fellow Hanoverians:
Hanover High School’s Drama Society will be performing
Shakespeare’s /A Midsummer Night’s Dream /this weekend in the
Robert J. Nyman Memorial Auditorium in the new Hanover High School. It
is the first drama production to be held in the new theater and
tickets are now available! Performances will be held this Thursday,
Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. The
play is directed by English teachers Mr. John Hopkins and Mr. Steven
Henderson. To reserve tickets in advance, please go to

. Tickets are $5 for students and $8 for adults.
Additionally, the National Honor Society is hosting a mini-fundraiser

Slices will be $2.00. Water and soda will be $1.00. All proceeds go to
charity. They will start selling at 6:00 p.m. in the High School
Commons.

The Hanover Foundation will celebrate its 20th anniversary by hosting
“A Night with Jim Plunkett” on March 24, 2012 at the Abington VFW
Hall from 7:30 p.m. – 12:00 p.m. During the evening there will be a
light buffet, cash bar, dancing and musical entertainment provided by
the one and only Jim Plunkett. Jim has been entertaining crowds from
Boston to Cape Cod for several decades. Tickets can be purchased in
advance for $15.00 by calling Joan at 781-878-2714 or at the door for
$20.00. Consider reserving a table for guaranteed seating for $150.

*Cook with Me for 10+ year olds and Cook with Me for 6 – 9 year olds!*

Do you love to cook with the adults in your life? Or perhaps you want
to help out around the house and want to impress your family with
something you made yourself? This course will help you become more
confident in the kitchen. Whether or not you’re returning to Cook with
Me or brand new, join us for Session 2! You will learn kitchen safety,
menu planning and basic cooking skills. The importance of cooking
whole foods and eating nutritionally balanced meals. Some of the meals
you will cook are Tuscan smoked turkey, bread and pizza dough and so
much more! Participant meal suggestions are welcomed! Limit of 14
