Friends of the John Curtis Library

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

Do you know that the Friends of the John Curtis Free Library in Hanover, a
small and caring group, supports the library in major ways?

Membership contributions and monies collected from the book sale space are
returned to the library to provide programming, funding most of the
library’s children’s events, as well as some events for adult patrons.

Monies also provide museum passes to seven organizations:
New England Aquarium
Peabody Essex Museum
Roger Williams Zoo
Zoo New England
Trustees of Reservations
Historic New England
Harvard Museums

The Friends of the JCL values the ongoing support of their current members
and invites others to join them! Membership applications are available on
the bookcase in the book sale room and at the two circulation desks.

The Friends of the JCL encourages your support as a volunteer.
Volunteers play a vital role in the book sale space.
Support in suggesting programs would be helpful.
Overseeing the Children’s Garden would be wonderful!

Please consider joining the Friends of the John Curtis Library and
supporting their ongoing effort.

For additional information, please contact Emily Blampied,
