The Community Preservation Committee welcomes new project proposals that
may contribute to community preservation in Hanover. Please submit such
proposals to the Committee using the form and guidelines.

The application deadline is Friday, October 31, 2025, at 12:00 p.m.

Proposals for Community Preservation funding must be submitted using the
application. All information requested on the application must be included
in the proposal.
Applications must be typewritten, and twelve (12) copies (including one
unbound and reproducible copy) of the application and all supporting
documentation must be submitted to the Community Preservation Committee,
c/o Community Preservation Coordinator, Hanover Town Hall, 550 Hanover
Street.

Applications will only be accepted until October 31st unless an applicant
can demonstrate that a significant opportunity would be lost if not
considered outside the normal funding schedule.

The Masons at the Phoenix Lodge will be having their once-monthly public
breakfasts again this year! This e-mail will be the only communication you

The Lodge is located at 133 Broadway, at the corner of Broadway and
Washington Street (Hanover Four Corners).

Join them on Sunday, October 12, November 9, December 14 (Santa will be
there and photo opportunities will be available!), January 11, 2026,
February 8, March 8, April 12, May 10 (Mother’s Day – moms eat free!) and
June 14 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for what some folks say is the “best
breakfast anywhere”.

Featuring: French toast, pancakes, eggs, homemade corned beef hash, home
fries, breakfast sausage, bacon, fresh fruit and juices, muffins, toast and
coffee.

ALL YOU CAN EAT
Adults – $13.00
Kids under 12 – $6.00
Kids under 5 – FREE

You just can’t beat this price!!!

All of the proceeds from the breakfasts help to support their food pantry
and scholarship programs. Phoenix Lodge regularly donates to the Hanover,
Pembroke Firehouse and Norwell food pantries. They also provide two
scholarships each year to South Shore Regional Vocational Technical High
School.

Thank you from the officers and members of Phoenix Lodge for helping them

Town of Hanover Flu Clinics
Wednesday, October 1st and Wednesday, October 8th

The Hanover Board of Health is offering the seasonal influenza vaccine at
the Hanover Council on Aging building, located at 665 Center Street, on the
following two dates:
• Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The Board will be offering two formulations of flu vaccine this year:
o High-Dose, specifically for ages 65 and older. Preservative-free.
o Trivalent vaccine. Preservative-free.

• No appointments are necessary.
• All persons will be asked to present an insurance card, which will
cover the cost of the flu shot.
• No one will be turned away due to insurance eligibility.
• Please remember to wear short-sleeved shirts.

the Parish Hall and on the grounds, located in Hanover Four Corners, 17
Church Street, on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Wellspring Food Truck will be on site offering delicious fare as well

Trust, the Social Security Office and Cardinal Cushing classrooms.) There
are stairs from the parking lot to the back of the parish hall. There will
be parking signs at the entrance on that day.

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

The Boston Bruins’ 2025 Fan Fest Tour will make three stops across
Massachusetts and New Hampshire with the mission to grow the game of hockey
throughout New England. The Fan Fest Tour will be in Hanover on Friday,
September 5, 2025, at the Chesna Memorial Rink, 471 Hanover Street, Hanover
from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm.

Fans of all ages will have the chance to participate in hockey games,
explore interactive exhibits, shop for Bruins merchandise, and more. The
Boston Bruins Foundation will also be on-site with BFit Combine stations
for various kid-friendly fitness activities. Members of the Bruins
organization are expected to join the festivities at each stop of the Fan
Fest Tour.

Parking for this event is available at the following locations:
